The State newspaper ran an article today about a program that was tested here in SC that helps people get small USDA loans to make energy-saving improvements to their homes. This program was a success and is going national.

This is an excellent opportunity for homeowners to upgrade their home and save money on utility bills. The fact the money is available and the only exposure for the home owner is they use what is the difference in the utility bill toward paying back the loan to do the work. A win win situation for everyone.
